"Journey of a lifetime - From Pandemonium to Sanctum"

Hey guys I am back with my new blog on my new enduring experience of a journey to a beautiful place named "Shiv Khola". The place got its name as Shiv Khola from the the beautiful Lord Shiva's
temple ,situated in that area and the word "Khola" which means a small flowing river stream(In Nepali). People residing there are living a simple life. As the temperature prevailing there is not suitable for growing crops and vegetables, the residents have to travel approximately 50 kms to purchase their basic necessities of day to day life.

This trip to Shiv Khola was planned by two of my best rocking buddies Mr. Ruben and Mr.Rituraj.
So, the planning initiated when these two "Think Tanks" of our group were sitting together and were planning of a rendezvous.

But this time they were planning something different. They were planning for an outdoor travelling trip. Both of them decided that they will arrange everything for this trip. But the biggest challenge was to decide the location. They took 2 to 3 hrs discussing of different places. They were searching on net and were also referring to their friends. Finally the search was over after 2 hrs. and was finalised we were going to "Shiv Khola".

Rituraj called me up late night and informed me about the finalised location and told me to report by 10:00 A.M at "IXB HEADQUARTERS". I was very excited for this trip and the best thing was that it was on my weekoff.

So, as per the schedule I woke up early morning . I was so excited that I slept only for 3 to 4 hrs. But around 09:00 A.M when I was about to leave my place I received a call from my Manager, that there is a staff shortage and I have to report back to office. But guys,I lied him that I am on my way to Mirik, a nearby beautiful small hill station. He told me to report if possible, but my answer was ," No Chance Dude".(But the word "Dude" was silent.....hahahha...😁.)

Finally everyone reported to "IXB HEADQUARTERS" at 09:45 A.M. Everything was arranged very neatly and in a precise manner. The best thing was the vehicle on which we were about to start our journey. It was "Mahindra Thar" and a special thanks to Mr. Akumba for this. I think it would be very unfair to say "Thar" a vehicle; I would like to define it as a "Big Black Devil" running on wheels. It's damn powerful and I experienced it's power as I was the co-driver through out the journey.
"Shiv Khola" is at a distance of approximately 60 Kms. from our place and it lies on the hilly terrains. So we required a strong machine which can carry all of us to that place and for that "Thar" was undoubtedly the best.

On the way to our destination we stopped at a place named Sukna, where we picked up our fifth partner of the trip. He was the most important guy in this trip as he was only aware of the routes to our destination; in other words we can say that he was like a GPS tracker device who will guide us towards our destination.. It was a small hault of around 15 mins. We had some refreshments and again kickstarted our journey. As we were getting away from the main population and traffic , the air was getting fresh and chilled. The air which we were breathing in , not only purified our lungs but our souls too. There were very less vehicles on road. It seemed we were getting deep inside the lap of nature.

There was no looking back and it seemed that we have left our busy monotonous life far behind. We were just thinking of the present moment and wanted to live it at the fullest. Our machine was running like a king on the off -roads and we were coming across the beautiful scenaries of  mountains kissing the clouds, green forests and tea plantations. We also saw some sign boards stating ," Say no to tobacco", "Hunting Prohibited", and some helpfull sign boards stating," Broken Road Ahead". which helped us in driving more safely.

Finally, we reached around 12:30 P.M and it was a  mind boggling scenary in front of us. We offloaded all items and started arranging them. We lighted fire and our very talented Hotel Management student Mr. Ruben started preparing fish fries as a starter for all of us and followed by the main course of our menu. We were playing guitar, singing songs, having drinks, dancing and enjoying the beauty of the nature. We also clicked some beautiful and memorable pics of nature . You can see the beautiful pictures which are self explanatory. A  river was flowing by our side and it was so beautiful and clean that two of our gold medalist swimmers Akumba and Rituraj jumped into it.The water was crystal clear , chilled and blue.

By 05:00 P.M our food was ready and our hotel management guy had performed a tremendous job. The food he prepared was not less than a 5-star food for us.All of us were not expecting the he is going to cook like that.We all had our food and enjoyed it.But one of our friend Mr. Abhishek was having food in such a quantity that it seemed he has just returned from a hunger strike and the way he was eating,he reminded me of a hindi song," Kal ho na ho".
                              ( Abhishek)

By 06:00 P.M we started packing and boarded our machine and started returning back. While returning home our best friend Mr. Akumba was driving as he had participated in a valley racing. When I asked him to drive slowly as the roads were very narrow, u won't beleive the way he answered me; "Bro ,I can see the road as a four lane highway " and he stood on his words and drove all of us back home safely.

I would really like to thank all our group members ; Akumba, Rituraj,  Ruben and Abhishek to make this trip a memorable one. I have also shared some beautiful pics . Hope you all will like it ............................................................

Shiva Khola which stands aloof from our world is majestically a place to be ventured once you are alive. Not too populated and giving the raw touch of nature. This place is perhaps where you can come in equanimity with yourself........So folks from IXB HEADQUARTERS we suggest you to spend some quality time with your family..

Thank you....
